Our Story
We all have our own unique ways of working, none of which are wrong, however, sometimes we are not allowed to fly, our wings clipped.
It was to fly free, to support clients more and to be able to grow with clients that gave rise to Robert Appleby deciding that the time was right to make these ideals a reality and to start something new and exciting.
Verum Projects was therefore born the meaning of Verum being the ethos on which we work that of truth and honesty.
Meet the Team
Robert Appleby MSc (Const Law) ACIArb
Managing Director
Robert has been in the industry for over 35 years starting as a PQS in Birmingham before moving to the contractor side of the industry approximately 20 years ago. His vision to offer clients a personal experience came to fruition when he started Verum Projects alongside Adam Innocent in 2018.
Robert has a BSc in Quantity Surveying and an MSc in Construction Law as well as IOSH Managing Safely.
Adam Innocent
Director
Adam has had his own business for over 8 years when he met Rob, the synapses started to fire and a partnership was instantaneously formed due to shared values.
Chris Garbett
Senior Quantity Surveyor
Chris has over 35 years experience in numerous areas of construction, he is a people person with a vast knowledge of the industry and is a valued member of the team.
Chris has an HNC in Quantity Surveying as well as IOSH Managing Safely.
Amanda Bass
Senior Project Manager
Amanda has many years experience working in a number of roles for Sainsbury’s before spreading her project management wings, she is a gregarious and caring person with an in depth knowledge and a valued member of the team.
Amanda holds IOSH Managing Safely.
